Reading quartet The Amazons stand on the cusp of making a major breakthrough in 2017. The band have just been named in three of the UK�s most influential new artist lists: the BBC Sound of 2017 poll; MTV�s Brand New for 2017 shortlist; and Apple Music New Artists 2017 list.

These latest developments follow a rapid rise in The Amazons� fortunes. Last year they were nominated for the Q Award for Best Breakthrough Act, while their current single �Little Something� was premiered as Annie Mac�s Hottest Record in the World.

�Little Something� will also feature on the band�s forthcoming debut album which has been recorded with Catherine Marks (Wolf Alice, Foals, The Vaccines) in Flood and Alan Moulder�s famous Assault and Battery studio in London.

The Amazons� have announced details of an extensive UK tour that runs from February through to April.
