Its been a long time coming but finally we are getting one of America’s hottest bands over for a proper UK tour – AWOLNATION. They will be joining Billy Talent on the Rock Sound Riot 2012 tour taking place this November around the UK. They have the No.1 most viewed video of 2011 on MTV.com, No.1 Billboard Heatseekers Album with Megalithic Symphony (out now on Redbull Records) and their single ‘Sail’ was Top 5 last year at US Alternative Radio.
“We are very excited to announce that we’re going to have AWOLNATION come out with us and tour across the UK for the Rock Sound Riot,” says Billy Talent frontman Ben Kowalewicz. “It’s going to be a kick-a$$ show!”
“After meeting Billy Talent over the summer playing festivals we were very excited to be asked to support them on this tour,” said AWOLNATION frontman Aaron Bruno.
“Having AWOLNATION on board alongside Billy Talent is a real shot in the arm,” says Rock Sound editor Ben Patashnik. “And with one more band still to be announced, I’m confident this is going to be an awesome set of dates.”
