Described by Guardian critic John Fordham as "a soloist of immaculate taste", Ben is one of the U.K.'s outstanding saxophonists.
With over 20 years as a professional sax player Ben has performed with jazz stars Tina May, Jim Mullen and Andy Sheppard, Kenny Wheeler, Dave Liebmann, Jim Mullen, Andy Sheppard, Tina May, Dave Green to name but a few. He studied with Jan Kopinski and George Carmicheal but is mostly self taught giving him an individual voice on the saxophone.
He will be performing classics from the Great American Songbook (Cole Porter, Gershwin Brothers, Rodger’s and Hart etc) as well as Bossa Nova favourites by Jobim.
