The Brothers of Soul are a fantastic 4 piece vocal quartets, who all hail from Birmingham the heart of the country.
The Brothers were put together by BAAD Entertainment, who incidentally has in their ranks, Dennis Seaton of Musical Youth, Basil Gabbidon ex Steele Pulse founder member and Alex Williams who is also a vocalist with a local group called Simply Blu.
They have been rehearsing throughout the year to get the right sound and blend so as to try and keep the very flavour and essence of The Temptations, Four Tops and The Drifters.
The Brothers of Soul are:
Chris Hall: who has been singing around the clubs for around 10 years and is a very experienced performer with a silky smooth voice to match.
Colin Mills: a talented vocalist in much demand with tribute bands around the Birmingham area who can also be found doing lead vocals with local band ‘Up for the down stroke’ when not performing with the Brothers.
Paul Green: another member who comes with a wealth of experience of performing around the country with different bands and can also be found doing lead vocals with the top soul band in Birmingham ‘Project 21’
Neville Forbes: not only a very talented vocalist but he also finds time to lead his very own choir for which he is the choirmaster. He has been singing in churches up and down the country for the last 15 years and as he would say he just loves to sing.
They perform songs like My Girl, Get Ready, Just My Imagination, I Can’t Help Myself, Reach Out, Treat Her Like a Lady, Ain’t Too Proud to Beg, Bernadette, Up on the Roof and many more Motown classics.
