Some Details...
On Thursday 22 February 2018 some extraordinary music can be heard at Lee Rosy's Tea 17 Broad Street Nottingham NG1 3AJ 7.30-10pm. At 7.30pm it's Experimental Sonic Machines, consisting of home-made instruments & music machines by Peter K Rollings from Lincoln. He baffled the judges on Britain's Got Talent in 2016 with his highly original electronic music & sci-fi costumes to go with it. He will be accompanied by his robot drummer Ernie.
Then later there's Laugh Motel, the solo electronic music project of Dominic Carlsson from Lincoln. He uses vintage keyboards & specially altered electronic toys to create his very quirky & interesting music.
Finally there's Tape Noise, again a solo electronic musician from Lincoln, Dex Wright. He plays synthesiser, flute, & also does spoken word & adds electronic effects to create fascinating atmospheric sounds.
The event is organised by Jez Creek from Nottingham. It's a monthly alternative music night called Church Of Sound & has been going a few years & is proving popular. Entry is £4.
