Karen Gilmore has been singing and performing for the last 17 years, both as a solo female vocalist and as lead vocal for various bands, entertaining audiences from a select few to a thousand plus. Over the years, Karen has sang tunes from a variety of genres to include country, jazz, blues, rock, the classics and pop, incorporating a modest selection of each as part of her show, so ultimately, there is a song or two for everyone to enjoy.
Karen has worked with many professional artistes during her career, with countless live performances, enabling her to perfect the art of stagecraft and connectivity with both fellow musicians and the audience. Her personality is infectious, with a manner which is both natural and easy going.
Karen is a freelance professional vocalist and is available for functions and events to include weddings and birthday celebrations. Her show is taylored to suit any audience, and with a vast repertoire of songs to hand, this is easily achieved. Shows can be genre-based if required (specifically jazz, country etc). She is also available for session and radio work.
