Folk At The Glee Club Presents - LISA KNAPP with GERRY DIVER - SAT 28 SEP
Exceptional English folk singer and songwriter Lisa Knapp, and multi-instrumentalist partner Gerry Diver return with a new album, heading to Glee Club Nottingham, Saturday 28th September.
Lisa Knapp emerged in 2007 with a remarkable debut Wild and Undaunted. She made a critical impact as a highly distinctive artist from one of the most creative and active underground music scenes of recent times.
In 2009 Lisa toured Scotland in a double headline tour with James Yorkston. In autumn 2009 she took part in a special collaborative project with Leafcutter John which saw the two artists develop music inspired by the history of the British canals, which was then toured on a canal boat up the Grand Union Canal from London to Birmingham.
2012 saw the release of a new EP Hunt The Hare and a new studio album is set for release in late 2013.
Merging a radiant style of traditional folk and self-penned songs, she will be playing live for Folk At The Glee Club as a duo with Irish multi-instrumentalist and producer Gerry Diver.
