Ollie Hayes Announces First Live Headline Event at Nottingham’s Rough Trade

Nottingham-based singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Ollie Hayes has announced his first headline performance, ‘Ollie Hayes: One Night Only’ at the prestigious Rough Trade Nottingham. The show will be a celebration of both the release of his latest Christmas EP, as well as celebrating a year since his album, ‘The Dream’.
The evening show will also be supported by Rob from Chasing Deer, who will be performing songs from his latest work, and an additional local musician. The show will also include the opportunity for the audience to meet the artists, as they are happy to sign merchandise and pose for photos. Capacity is limited, and tickets are on sale now.
Ollie describes his music as alternative/pop as he glides between genres and styles "with a musical ethos built on the sonic diversity that modernity enables us with." Independent, honest, and constantly evolving, Ollie was a founding member of The Half Eight band, and started his solo career in 2020. His new brand of music has had great support from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Nottingham, he will be performing at Mansfield’s Christmas lights switch-on, supporting East 17.
