CATFISH KEITH

Singer songwriter Steve Knightley and multi instrumentalist Phil Beer, won both the Best Duo title and Best Original Song at the Awards -the latter for the topical title track of their acclaimed new studio album Arrogance Ignorance and Greed, a no-holds- barred Knightley track about bankers and bonuses, MPs and expenses which saw them featured on BBC -1’s Breakfast TV.

Accompanied by striking double bass player/ vocalist Miranda Sykes, England’s finest acoustic roots act will be showcasing the AIG album, delving into their rich back catalogue of original material and unveiling some new songs from the Knightley pen.
The triple Albert Hall sell-out band will be joined by fellow Devon musician Jackie Oates tour, providing the opportunity for Knightley and Oates to sing their theatrical Keys of Canterbury duet live for the first time - as recorded for the AIG album.
Fiddle singer Jackie was a double winner at the 2009 BBC Radio 2 Folk awards –clinching the Horizon Award for Best Newcomer and Best Traditional Track.
