THE STAVES - UK TOUR 2013 - GLEE CLUB NOTTINGHAM - THU 31 OCT
British sibling trio The Staves return to Glee Club Nottingham, Thursday 31st October.
The Staves are Emily, Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor - an acoustic folk rock trio of sisters, from Hertfordshire. The rise and rise of The Staves over the last 18 months has been nothing short of meteoric.
They gained a following in the UK with their Mexico EP in 2011, with US attention to follow. Aside form selling out their own headline tours, they supported Ben Howard, The Civil Wars and Bon Iver on their US & Canadian tours, and performed at South by Southwest Festival in 2012.
Their debut album Dead & Born & Grown received near faultless reviews from the likes of Clash, Mojo, Uncut, and Q - while The Independent called the album "magical"; The Guardian, "perfectly gorgeous"; and The Sunday Times, "a debut of stellar beauty and hidden depths."
The Staves' live reputation is truly second-to-none, with their exquisite songwriting and close harmonies capable of plunging an audience into awed silence.
