Justin Antcliffe Vocals

Justin has a been singing in bands for many years, from his first band Condemned Soul - who were popular in their own right in the local Metal scene and regulars at the Derby Vic - to the Grunge feel of Sundog who could boast having interest from Sony records, playing gigs in London, Nottingham's Rock City and taking to the stage to headine in Nottingham market square. Next, Justin found himself in a local covers band who are particularly well thought of in the biker circuit. After 3 great years with them, circumstances changed which meant he was unable to commit to the band at that point in time. One and a bit years later the changing tide of circumstance meant the vocalist could get back out there and do what he does best, he just needed a band.Wasting no time, he thought about the people he had met in his life, looking for committed people he contacted Dan Booth who Justin had jammed with in an Iron Maiden tribute band & Richard Chappell, long time pal and dedicated guitar player. Nick was soon recruited on the drums, though blind, this does not detract from his percussion. The bass player had not been cemented in and several names were aired in the meantime Dan's brother, Matt, filled in at practice. Not a bass player, but a guitar player Matt did such a great job and matched with his enthusiasm for the band, it was soon decided our search for a bass player was over..in the rehearsal studios of magnet in Nottingham THE THIRD KIND was born.
