TOM WRIGGLESWORTH'S NIGHTMARE DREAM WEDDING - GLEE NOTTINGHAM
Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Tom Wrigglesworth is back with a brand new show following last year’s sell-out hit and stellar performances at the legendary Montreal Comedy Festival.
Having run out of excuses to delay his marriage, Tom recounts the debacle of his recent wedding in Vegas. A rollercoaster of farcical chases, mistaken identities and last-minute plans; this could be the biggest day of his life, for all the wrong reasons. Getting to the church on time should be straightforward, shouldn’t it?
It`s been a phenomenal two years for Tom. His 2009 Edinburgh show ‘Tom Wrigglesworth’s Open Return Letter To Richard Branson’ was the buzz hit show of the festival. A complete sell-out sensation (with extra dates added due to overwhelming public demand), the show was nominated for the coveted Edinburgh Comedy Award and received critical acclaim and 5 star reviews. Tom went on to tour the show nationally, performing to sell-out audiences across the country, including The Glee Clubs. He also accepted invitations to perform at the prestigious New Zealand and Montreal Comedy Festivals.
A one-off version of the 2009 Edinburgh show was transmitted by BBC Radio 4 in early 2010 and has led to a full series where Tom will campaign on consumer issues, such was the success of his battle against Richard Branson’s Virgin Trains.
