Once described as being "full of Eastern promise and Northern grit", Tone Puppets are essentially an alternative rock band with Eastern and Spanish influences.
Tone Puppets gained recognition through their first release 'Ignore', with several positive reviews which can be seen on the [reviews] section on this site.
The title track to their latest single, 'Late Nights' was featured earlier this year as part of the Acid Jazz 'Hipsters' compilation.
Having played a live session and interview on BBC Radio Merseyside the band are due to play a BBC Introducing gig in Liverpool on 26th Oct and have announced details of their forthcoming tour - [gigs]
A free-to-download acoustic version of their track 'Over & Over' was released in April 2012 and received strong backing from many radio stations including BBC Radio Merseyside. The band has also been booked to play the Schweinskopf Festival Germany in September.
Their next single, 'Captain Spacecat', will be recorded in Parr Street Studios in early August, due for release in late 2012.
