Super Furry Animals at Clumber Park

IML Concerts are delighted to launch Clumberfest 2009, following the success of last year’s concert, at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire on Saturday 22nd August having secured four of the UK’s top Indie rock/pop bands for a one day summer festival.
Thousands are set to descend on Clumber Park for one evening of pure festival atmosphere and music from an excellent line-up including Super Furry Animals, Supergrass, The Lightning Seeds and The View
Critically acclaimed indie-popsters Super Furry Animals are one of the most innovative and exciting groups to have emerged from Wales, and will be entertaining you with their psychedelic pop. MTV describe their sound as "shimmering, melodic, irreverent, and wilfully artsy rock & roll".
Chart toppers Supergrass are set to rock Clumber Park's second music festival. This multi-award winning band from Oxford, are sure to bring a great vibe to the festival with their feel good summery pop tunes.

The Lightning Seeds, the brainwave of the producer and guitarist Ian Broudie, will be playing songs from their beautiful new album ‘Four Winds’ and classic tracks from their resplendent back catalogue, a set full of striking melodies and recognisable tunes.
The View are an indie rock band from Dundee, Scotland, who include various styles such as punk, pop, powerpop, folk and acoustic in their music. The View, comprising of Kyle, Keiren, Peter and Steve, formed from the ashes of an old covers band they formed at school, before deciding that their ambitions stretched considerably so began writing and rehearsing their own songs.
The gates open at 5pm and the programme commences from 7.30pm, - with a full programme of hits including Alright, Mary, Something for the Weekend, Northern Lights, Moving, The Life of Riley, Lucky You, Pure, Same Jeans, Wasted Little DJs and Up the Junction.
Keith Louch, Director of IML Concerts said, “We are thrilled to be bringing this one day festival to Clumber Park. We have already had a huge demand for tickets so we are very confident that the event will sell out quickly.”
This concert has no seating or cover provided so bring your own rugs and only water in plastic bottles will be allowed on entry to the site. There will be a range of bars and catering outlets on site. Free parking
