Arctic Monkeys at Nottingham Arena

Fresh from headlining this year’s Leeds and Reading Festivals, the Arctic Monkeys have confirmed their UK tour and fans will be pleased to hear that they will be performing at Trent FM Arena Nottingham on Sunday 22nd November 2009.

The band’s third studio album, Humbug entered the charts at number one, seeing Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders and Nick O’Malley have their third consecutive number one album in the UK!

The tour is set to see the band showcase their hits and songs from the new album plus Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not and Favourite Worst Nightmare.

Front man for the band, Alex Turner, has been praised for the new album with critics saying: “Turner is his usual eloquent self, but has definitely graduated into an incomparable writer whose themes twist and turn through stories and allegories so potent and profound it actually leaves one breathless.”
