Comedy’s answer to the X-Factor, Funhouse Comedy’s “Should I Stay or Should I Go?” competition returns to The Maze for a Christmas Special on Tuesday Dec 15th.
15 new aspiring comedians compete. After they’ve done 2 minutes, selected judges vote on who to keep and who to send packing!
The show’s compere is Heanor-based Jim Smallman. 4 years ago he performed his first-ever gig in this competition and has now gone on to become a pro comic with a successful Edinburgh Festival show under his belt. He said, “Doing this competition was the best decision I ever made. I had a dull job before and now I’m working as a comedian all over the UK. It’s an amazing buzz and to come back and compere the show that started it all off is very exciting.”
