Lesley Garrett, Britain’s most popular soprano presents a gala evening of seasonal songs to celebrate the New Year as well as opera and classical arias from her most recent album Amazing Grace. Accompanied by the Manchester Camerata conducted by Philip Ellis and featuring a choir, the programme will include music by Mozart, Vivaldi, Puccini, John Rutter, Karl Jenkins, Bach, Verdi and some seasonal songs for the New Year. Renowned for her versatile and varied talents which cover opera, television, radio, and the West End, Lesley has recently starred in Carousel and The Sound of Music as well as singing with the English National and Welsh National Opera.
