After spending the last seven years keeping London's alternative music scene alive with their unique mix of musical innovation and party spirit, Young & Lost Club will be taking things nationwide in February. With YALC stalwarts Noah & The Whale leading the charge and new lads Naked & The Boys and Lord Auch ably supporting, expect the same musical high jinx that have made them legends in the capital.
Nadia Pyrrha and Sara Jade, aka The Pyrrha Girls, first met in their early teens and quickly made a name for themselves with their Pyrrha fanzine - the first publication to cover bands such as Razorlight and featuring contributions from the likes of Pete Doherty. They first ventured out as promoters in 2001, and have gone on to become a major force in London's live music scene - their latest venture Push Club at Astoria 2 has become the hottest alternative disco party in the capital.
After abandoning University for the lure of the music industry, the girls started Young & Lost Club recordings in 2004 and have gone on to release debut singles from Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, Good Shoes, Vincent Vincent & The Villains, Johnny Flynn and Pull Tiger Tail. With tour headliners Noah & The Whale having recently signed an album deal with the label, the future for Young & Lost Club is positively glowing.
