He built a radio and telephone system at the age of ten years. By his mid thirties he had built his own mixing desk and home studio and launched a dub record label from his front room in Thornton Heath. The Ariwa studio and label kick started with the now legendary Dub Me Crazy collection. With production and remix credits on nearly 200 albums, Mad Professor has Mad Professored a string of top artists, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Pato Banton, Horace Andy, The Orb, Sade, Massive Attack , Depeche Mode, Jamiroqui and Beastie Boys. Instrumental in transposing dub into the digital age, Mad Professor has released hundreds of his own original recordings.
