Peashooter are a three piece covers band, formed a couple of years ago when old friends John, Paul and Justin each found themselves with nothing to do on Monday evenings. They quickly solved that problem by getting together most Monday evenings to play a few songs and then go to the pub.
It was just a bit of fun, and the choice of songs often reflects that, with the very typical all male line up of guitar, bass and drums tackling songs that one would not usually associate with a band comprised of these components. Blondie? Sure. Pretenders? Why not? Kraftwerk? Yes. ABBA? Indeed! It's just a bit of fun, see?
However, eventually they had an extensive list of songs and of course, someone suggested that maybe they should get a gig or two?
So, now and then, when the weather is not too inclement, and the distance not too great, Peashooter can be tempted from their lair to play a gig.

The three players all have a good musical provenence, playing regularly on the local and national scene with bands such as The Rattlers, Neverland, Swamptrash, Cross o th Hands, Sounds of the Blues Brothers, Richard Snow & The Inlaws and The Modest to name but a few.
