Malvis Key is from Nottingham. He spent a significant portion of his twenties in London, but amid the chaos of everything that 2020 turned out to be, he found himself on his way back to the East Midlands. Cue 2020, cue everything else that happened that we were all there to witness. Malvis will tell you himself the exact nature of how it all fell into place. Not so much apart, but into the orderly queue of stepping stones that leads him to here, 2021, with the rest of us who made it through. Yes, he has songs, he is an emotional man in his twenties with Something To Say™ and to make it easier to listen to, he’s written pop music that goes really well with it. More than that, though; he might have written some of the best sad bangers you have heard in a while.

STEPHEN STRINGER ESQUIRE

Stephen Stringer rapidly established himself as a rising star of Nottingham’s music scene, playing Nottingham’s Hockley Hustle two years in a row, Y Not Festival, headlining with his band at Rough Trade Nottingham as well as numerous appearances across the UK and elsewhere.
Stephen toured the USA only to bet everything he owned in Vegas including his guitar. Stephen spent the next four months working the 'Crazy Horse' as a topless waiter serving bottomless cocktails, completely renouncing the music business and everything that wet dog stood for . One night, befuddled on stolen Navy Grog, Stephen scoured the internet, wiping out any former trace of his online presence. He then headed for Asia, chasing the Spice trail for a near on a year, finally wwoof-ing the organic farms of Europe only returning to Blighty (thanks Brexit!) Finding himself spiritually emboldened by his knew experience Stephen came back built a house and a guitar with his bare hands and his mind and now he's back. He missed you, come and say hello.
