On the 25th & 26th August, 10am-4pm, at PPS there will be a gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts where you can experience a stunning display of bikes through the ages. Set in the grounds of the awe-inspiring Victorian water pumping station you will also be able to immerse yourself in the history and beauty PPS has to offer and witness the impressive James Watt engines in action.
If you have a bike and would like to be part of this event, free entry to pre-booked bikes inc rider & passenger. Any arrivals after 10am (not pre-booked and must pre-date 2005) will be subject to £5 entry fee. For more details please contact: events@papplewickpumpingstation.org.uk
Musical entertainment will be provided by The Pulse (Sunday) and Moonshiners, (Monday) on the main lawn where you can sit back, have a dance or simply relax with a craft beer from Lincoln Green and take in the beauty of the gardens.
Our newly renovated play area is the perfect setting to let the little ones blow off some steam whilst you enjoy a well-deserved cup of tea and a treat from our café. Not forgetting, our greenhouse will be stocked with an array of plants available for purchase, perfect for filling any empty spots in your garden.
For a small fee of £4 per adult and £1 per child, embark on tours of the amazing underground reservoir. Additionally, marvel at the full-sized steam roller, take a ride on the miniature railway and see the Robey winding engine from Linby Colliery. So much to see and do!
