Music from The Jam, Style Council and Paul Weller's latest material
Tony (Rhythm/Lead Guitar & Vocals) Kev (Bass Guitar & Vocals) Alan - aka Scooby (Drums) and Martin (Keyboards/Guitar/Vocals) are "THE MODFATHERS" a tribute band to the Modfather himself Mr Paul Weller.

The band got together around Easter 2004 after an idea by Kev who at the time was playing in a band with Martin called "The Guests".

Kev, Tony and Scooby go way back to the early eighties when they formed a band called "The Express" playing music influenced by "The Jam".

Even then people would remark about Tony's uncanny resemblance to Mr Weller and undoubtedly this had an effect on the direction of the band and its music; in fact the band actually wrote to Paul Weller enclosing a demo tape and received a personal hand written reply from the man himself.

To date "THE MODFATHERS" have performed numerous gigs with songs from the Jam, the style council and Paul Weller's solo career and each gig seems to attract a bigger and more appreciative audience.
