Opera della Luna makes its first visit to Newark with its most colourful and popular production. This astonishing and inventive company has achieved a great following nationwide for its innovative and energetic productions, managing to remain faithful to the spirit and fun of Gilbert and Sullivan while bringing a wholly new modern and effective slant to the shows.

Even the most hardened traditionalists will be delighted by the verve of their performance, while those who have consigned G&S to the dustbin of history will be forced to think again.

Set in the zany, flash world of modern fashion houses, with costumes inspired by Versace and Jean-Paul Gaultier, the show promises a riot of gorgeous and bizarre creations - sequins, stunning gowns, glamour, gorgeous singing and, of course, the company’s inimitable brand of madcap humour!

The cast includes G&S specialists Simon Butteriss as Ko-Ko and Ian Belsey as The Mikado.
