The original Johann Strauss Gala has been captivating audiences across the country for over 30 years. Raymond Gubbay is delighted to bring you a special production for 2009; Strictly Strauss.

Strictly Strauss will continue the Strauss Gala tradition of showcasing the magnificent music and sparkling song from the Strauss family and friends.

The Johann Strauss Orchestra will be directed by from the violin in traditional Viennese manner in a delightful programme of Strauss favourites including Blue Danube Waltz, Radetzky March and Tritsch Tratsh Polka.

Many of the most popular songs of the day will be brought to life by beautiful soprano soloist Elena Xanthoudakis.

No Strauss Gala would be complete without the Johann Strauss Dancers who will once again be taking the stage in exquisite costumes of the period.
