Tonic boasts 3 bars – one on each level of the venue. The Manhattan-esque cocktail bar as you enter is perfect for an early morning coffee and newspaper, or for sipping a Cosmo and watching the world go by. A few steps up to the main bar, with its vaulted timber ceiling and ultra comfortable leather booth seating, is just the place to relax and enjoy proper bar food and / r a drink with friends. The balcony bar on the top floors exclusive to restaurant diners and prefect for pre-dinner drinks. Back downstairs to the main bar, and as the week rolls into the weekend Tonic hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night from around 9.30pm. Tom Wardle, The Kit Mason Trio and David Blazye, bring you the very best in soul, Motown, jazz, R&B, blues and acoustic covers, in their own stripped backed style. Kick back and enjoy the music as our staff wait on you hand and foot!

Tom Wardle
Aged just 23, Tom Wardle is one of the most unmistakeable performers on the live scene today. Possessing a voice that seems to defy his size and a style that references pop's golden years of sharp suits and smash hits, Tom's brand of classic pop has served him well. Tom will be playing an eclectic set of acoustic covers in his own inimitable style at his home-town weekend residency at Tonic. Blasting out songs from The Beatles to The Blow Monkeys, Squeeze to Stereophonics, Tom's set will be sure to keep you entertained late into the night with his take on pop and cult classics.

Formed almost by accident as the lovely Kit Mason was looking for a guitar player to showcase her amazing vocal talent around the cool bars of the East Midlands, this versatile trio of Vocals, Guitar and Upright Bass just "gelled" from the very start.
Bringing you the very best in pop, jazz, soul, R&B and blues in their own stripped-back style, the Kit Mason trio are becoming one of the most sought-after acts around town.
