This outstanding Victorian pub once fed, watered and housed the men and horses working the Nottingham Canal.

We offer a range of 8 Real Ales & 6 Real Ciders, a Great British Pub Menu with 2 Meals for £10 and 2 Desserts for £5 served all day every day. A range of Sandwiches as well as Pork Pies, Scotch Eggs, Mustards & Chutneys Straight over the bar.

We are also in the process of building a new micro-brewery at the back of the premises which will be open in mid-March.

Mondays, Monday Night Music Club, a open mic & jamming session hosted by Nottingham's finest artists such as Joe Strange, Kris Ward, Roy Stone, Tee Dymond and more.
Wednesdays - Steve McGill. Acoustic covers.
Thursdays - Martin Taylor, Irish, Folk Night.
Fridays - Jazz & Blues, various artists - Ran by Barry Middleton of the Nottingham Blues Society.
Saturdays, Various artists playing Folk, Cajun, Irish & Skiffle and much more.
